The PSI sales team have spent the last few days in the company of MAC Valves, the European MDN (MAC Distributor Network), and colleagues from the North American team, enjoying the surroundings of Dubrovnik, Croatia.
While Dubrovnik offers an amazing environment and beautiful scenery, what really caught our attention is the innovation and investment that MAC are continuing to bring to pneumatic, gas and liquid control applications.
The unique Bullet Valve is on track to make up half of the overall volume of valves that MAC produces each year by the end of 2018. They are continuing to gain market share in the Dust Collector market with the Pulse Valve, offering significant benefit over the OEM valves fitted. The new Double Diaphragm Bullet Valve continues to find new, exciting liquid applications that bring significant benefit to their users. Often enabling technology to be developed that wouldn’t be achievable without the Bullet Valve.
It’s great to see the significant growth delivered resulting from MAC’s focus on innovative, unique products aligned directly to the needs of our customers. This approach is delivering significant year on year growth in a market that is flat overall.
To support this growth MAC are expanding their manufacturing facility in Europe significantly and building a brand new 115,000 sqft manufacturing facility in Taiwan. Both facilities will come on line through 2019 and it marks an exciting period of growth for MAC Valves globally.
