Murrelektronik have released their new IO-Link analogue converter to simplify the connection of analogue devices to an IO-Link system. It converts the analogue signal to the IO-Link protocol and integrates easily with M12 connectors.
This opens up an opportunity to use a range of sensors and actuators in a variety of IO-Link applications without complexity. This is the quickest, easiest and most economical way to integrate analogue devices to an IO-Link system. Available in a range of analogue input and output signals it makes any analogue devices IO-Link compatible.
The IO-Link analog converter can be installed in the field either in the immediate vicinity of the analogue sensor or actuator or directly on the analog device. As a result, the converted signal can be transmitted to the IO-Link master module over distances of up to 20m using a standard, unshielded cable.
